ReMediate
by Christina Kingsbury and Anna Bowen

This book documents ReMediate, a site-specific installation at the former Eastview landfill site in Guelph, Ontario, by Guelph artist Christina Kingsbury and poet Anna Bowen. In 2014, Kingbsury began the production and installation of a 3,000 sq. ft handmade paper quilt embedded with native seeds. The quilt has since decomposed, becoming habitat for wild bees and other pollinators.

ReMediate investigates how we relate to degraded landscapes through slow craft, labour, and care.  The book contains full-colour video stills and photographs from the installation as well as the accompanying series of poetry by Anna Bowen.
